Belton Cheshire Cheesey Easter Breakfast
Hot Cross Cheese and Bacon Toasties
Why not make Breakfast that little bit extra special this Easter? We would highly recommend making several of these at once, as they are egg-stremly moreish!

Ingredients
- 8 slices of streaky bacon
- 4 Hot Cross Buns
- 4 slices of Cheshire cheese
- 30g grated Cheshire cheese
Method
- Heat the grill to a high temperature
- Fry the bacon until crispy on both sides, put to one side on a plate lined with kitchen paper
- Cut the Hot Cross Buns in half and put them on a baking tray, cut-side up, then toast for a couple of minutes, under the grill until golden
- Turn the tops over so they’re the right way up
- Place a slice of Cheshire cheese on the bottom half of each bun and sprinkle the grated Cheshire cheese over the tops of the buns
- Grill on the middle shelf, until the cheese has melted
- Top each bottom half with 2 pieces of crispy bacon, and replace the lid on each bun
- Serve immediately
